And the Winner is...

Updated: Mar 21, 2019

Me! I am one lucky girl.

First and foremost, this experience would not have been possible without my dear friend Chelsea. Love you Honeybunches, thank you for bringing me as your date!

I apologize in advance for this post, as it consists primarily of gushing about on one of the most amazing nights of my life and the incredible people I was honored to meet at the Creative Arts Emmys Awards! I'll give you a recap of the show as well, so it's not too unbearably gagworthy.

This year, the Television Academy’s Board of Governors decided to split the show into two nights. An edited version featuring highlights from both nights will air of FXX on Saturday, September 17, from 8 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT) with an encore from 10:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. (ET/PT). Be sure to tune in, you might see us!

We started our evening out at the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE, which seemed to be the hot spot for pre-show festivities. Nothing says Hollywood more than sharing a martini with some of the greatest creative minds in the business.

Rupaul

Ryan Seacrest

Among the presenters were God himself (Morgan Freeman), Heidi Klum, The Sharks from Shark Tank, Vanessa Hudgens, Julianne Hough, Rupaul and many more. It is extremely inspiring seeing how much love and respect these talented individuals have for one another. Emotions ran strong as we honored the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to make television possible.

Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos won big, claiming 4 Emmys for 'Making a Murderer'!

Grease: Live and Cartel Land also took home multiple awards.

Regardless of the poor photo quality, which is a mixture of my excitement and being taken on an iPhone in a rush, these are some of the greatest selfies I will most likely ever take! First is with Moira Demos and second with Bill Nye the Science guy - Science Rules!

and you know what else rules? Morgan Freeman...
